Salamu: group cards for the people far away

How a birthday card for a twin brother in New York, 11,800 km from Nairobi, became Salamu: group cards for the people far away.

How it works

  1. Start a card: pick the occasion and a cover, and say who it is for.
  2. Share one link. Everyone writes a message in their own handwriting style, with a pen and a sticker. No account needed to sign.
  3. Choose when it arrives, in the recipient's time zone. They get an email, open the envelope and read the card.

Free, nothing to install, works on phones. For birthdays, farewells, thank-yous, congratulations and seasonal cards such as Christmas, Eid and Diwali. Built in Nairobi, Kenya.
